The Family International

The Family International Wiki is dedicated to the Christian communal group known as The Family International, formerly known as "The Children of God", "The Family of Love", and "The Family". The Family International (or TFI) is an international Christian community dedicated to sharing the message of God’s love with people around the world. Founded in Huntington Beach during the late 1960s, TFI has grown into a global organization with members in more than 90 countries.

Today Family members across the globe commit their time and efforts to the spreading the same core message The Family International has shared since its beginning 42 years ago: “God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”(Jn3:16). In order to more effectively carry out its missionary work, TFI has evolved and changed a great deal over the years, and at the heart of every change was the desire to spread the Good News.

The Family International has been referred to by academics as a millenarian Christian communal group
