Charter of the Family International
The Family International's Charter
The Family adopted it’s first official membership charter in 1995. This charter codified the
Family’s beliefs, and Family members’ individual rights and responsibilities. The Family charter
and statement of faith combine to outline the movement’s most essential and important beliefs,
principles and goals while also codifying the administration and leadership structure.
The Family International’s members and communities, while joined by a common faith and purpose, each operate autonomously, and are responsible for establishing the goals and framework for their own missions, within the general guidelines and parameters of the membership Charter and the framework of the Family's overall purpose, which is expressed in The Family International's mission statement.
