Since 1996, members of the family international have been helping in improving the spiritual and moral lives of the people by organizing Bible studies, building churches, training future missionaries and distributing inspirational books and materials in Nigeria. TFI Nigeria branches in Lagos, Abuja and port-Harcourt have engaged in a number of projects to show the people of the community God’s love. Some of those projects include vocational development, medical missions, educational development, and distribution of food and sharing of materials among poor children. By doing this, we believe we can instill God’s love into their hearts and also bring about oneness in the community.

EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAMMES, COUNTRYWIDE
In order to improve the quality of education in the community where we serve, we help by building schools, supplying educational material, training teachers and subsiding of teacher’s salaries. To ensure that teachers stay ahead in new methods of teaching, we organize teacher’s training seminars. During our seminars, we show teachers how to create locally made instructional materials. Our seminars takes aim at addressing issues of childrens motivation to learn, curbing of drug abuse, instilling of self-discipline and establishing good learning habits.

VOCATION DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, COUNTRYWIDE
Our vocational training has helped hundreds of young adults become self-employed. The training is mainly for the handicapped and children from poor backgrounds. Our full time training which runs from Monday to Friday, and part time which start after normal school hours, makes use of already established institutions to train the students. Our training is done by skilled volunteers who are concerned and willing to impart their knowledge and skills to others.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, PORT HARCOURT
Our members at port-Harcourt have been heavily focused on improving the spiritual, moral and character growth in the lives of both adult and children. We believe that if a change is going to occur on a global scale, it must begin with each individual and this will have a long lasting effect on the growth of the nation as a whole.

AID DISTRIBUTION & CHARITY SHOWS, PORT HARCOURT
Assisting the needy has been at the centre of our objective for over 14 years as we have been serving the people of Port-Harcourt. Some projects include our charity shows at various orphan homes and schools. We also share food and clothes among the underprivileged and provide medical and financial aid to those that are sick.

GWAKO SCHOOL, ABUJA
This school was established by the family international to improve the educational standard of the community. It aims to provide a high quality of education.
